Eyelash Growth a Problem? If so, read on....
You may qualify to participate in a clincial study in latanprost (also known as Xalatan) and bimatoprost - both are opthalmic solutions aimed at promoting eyelash growth for alopecia areata sufferers.
Both of these solutions are currently approved for use as a treatment for glaucoma and the company has noticed that glaucoma sufferers who use these solutions report longer, thicker eyelashes.
As of now there are no safe or acceptable "medical" treatments for eyelash loss due to alopecia by the way though we think Thymuskin has shown itself useful in this area.
You may qualify to take part in this study as long as you are over 18 and have 50% or more eyelash loss in both eyes due to alopecia areata. You also must have suffered for this for 6 months or longer. Please note they are not offering compensation for time or travel though.
If you live in the San Francisco area you should contact Vera Price MD, University of California, San Francisco, CA or contact INgrid Roseborough MD for more information on (415) 353-9529
