Thymuskin is a biologically active result of extensive clinical research and consists of a complex of amino acids , growth factors and proteins proven to successfully combat androgenetic hair loss, to fight dandruff, to stimulate new hair growth, to prevent dryness and to protect the hair from damaging environmental influences.
Endocrine Dysfunction: Men lose hair as a result of excess testosterone. The testosterone combines with an enzyme in the body which converts it to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which causes hair to fall out. The thymus extract in Thymuskin acts as a coating for the hair, so that the hair follicles do not respond to the DHT and the hair no longer falls out.

Thymuskin Hair Treatment
Should form any hair loss regimen unless you suffer from an irritated/sensitive scalp (in which case use the Med Gel instead).
Should be applied twice daily for the first 4 weeks and then 1 a day until hair condition normalises - then you can drop to 2 or 3 times a week.
Thymuskin Medicated Shampoo
Primarily used for heavy hair loss or for people with scalp conditions.
Use daily for 4 weeks then every other day until the hair condition normalises.
Once this occurs use 2 or 3 times a week.
If you have mild hair loss you can just use 2 or 3 times a week from the onset.
Thymuskin Cream Rinse Conditioner
To be used to improve the quality of the hair.
Especially useful where the hair is damaged.
Hairbalm Rinse
This conditioner is ideal to complement the use of the Thymuskin Shampoos, whether the normal shampoo or the medicated shampoo.
When used in conjunction with the Shampoo and Treatment it helps protect your hair and repair split ends.

Hair Treatment Mask

Thymuskin Med Gel

Should also be used with Shampoo. If your scalp is fine then it is a good idea to use Treatment in the morning and Med Gel last thing at night.

How to Use the Thymuskin Products
Thymuskin Shampoo
It is not necessary to use the Thymuskin shampoo every time before you apply the Treatment of Med Gel however, for the first 4-8 weeks we do think you should wash your hair with the shampoo daily - thereafter at least 3 times per week.
First rinse your hair thoroughly through with very warm, clear water in order to remove any water-soluble dirt particles from the scalp and to stimulate circulation. Then massage approximately 5ml of Thymuskin Shampoo (depending on the volume of your hair) into the scalp and hair for about one minute. Now rinse your hair thoroughly with very warm water and towel dry (possibly avoid hair dryer use (see Special Notes below).
Thymuskin Hair Treatment
Thymuskin treatment should be applied once the hair is clean and towel dried (and after using the Rinse if applicable).
Apply 1 to 2 ml into the scalp twice a day for the first 4 weeks ensuring you massage with your fingertips for about 1 minute. After around 4 weeks or so you can drop usage to once a day. After one's hair loss has decreased and hair growth is more predominant, usage can first be reduced to every second day and then to twice a week.
Special Note: Thymuskin Treatment is alcohol based and for people with sensitive scalps it can occasionally cause irritation. In this case the Thymuskin med Gel should be used instead.
Thymuskin Med Gel
The Gel is not a styling gel. The Gel is a higher concentration of the Treatment lotion and can be applied on a dry scalp.
This product is best when used in conjunction with the Shampoo and Treatment lotion. However, the Gel is often used instead of the Treatment lotion for people with sensitive scalps. It’s best to apply the Gel in the evening and sleep with it spread over and into the scalp; then in the morning, shampoo and put on the lotion for the balance of the working day. Because the Gel is more concentrated, it can strongly promote hair growth more quickly as it dries to ensure the effective agents are present around the hair follicles in high concentrations.
Special Note #1: The Med Gel does not contain alcohol so is unlikely to cause irritation to the scalp - should be used instead of the Hair Treatment for people with sensitive scalps.
Special Note #2: If the pipette in your Thymuskin Med Gel bottle does not function it is recommended that the end of the pipette be held under flowing warm water whilst using the bristles of a small brush such as a toothbrush one should (carefully) massage against the pipette to release any blockage without damaging the pipette. The warm water will soften the blockage which will then be washed away.
Thymuskin Cream Rinse Conditioner
At the beginning of the treatment, use the cream rinse conditioner following hair washing twice a week, and later once a week.
Massage the cream rinse conditioner into both scalp and hair while the hair is still wet. Depending on the volume of your hair, use 5 to 10 ml (5 ml = a teaspoonful).
Now wrap a towel turban-like around your wet hair and let the cream rinse conditioner work in. After 10 to 15 minutes, slightly rinse the hair with warm water and towel dry.
After this, use the Thymuskin Hair Treatment or Med Gel.
Thymuskin Hair Mask
Take the mask, work it between the palms of your hands and apply it to both hair and scalp. For long hair, use a comb to spread the mask all over the hair.
The active substances penetrate the damaged, porous parts and form a protective film on to the hair. The Thymuskin Hair Treatment Mask should remain in the hair, do not rinse. Its protective film also acts as a light setting lotion.
Remember, Thymuskin products are based on natural products that can be used as often as necessary with no adverse side effects. They are formulated into pleasant smelling cosmetics, leave no residue and require no more than a few minutes to use.
Special Notes to Consider
1) Perms, dyeing and highlighting: no adverse effect on the success of the treatment has been noted up to the present in connection with perms, dyeing and highlighting, taking care not to use any medicated products. However, we recommend you to use high-quality branded articles and apply our Thymuskin Cream Rinse Conditioner and Hair Treatment Mask afterwards.
2) Hair and scalp are bound to become dry due to the hot air of the hairdryer. The scalp perspires, becomes dehydrated and deprived of important minerals, which will result in a dry scalp, itching scalp, dandruff, and, as a last consequence, hair loss. If you do not want to dispense with a hairdryer, then please observe the following:
- Hold the hairdryer to the side of your head and direct it from below in an upward direction
- Comb the hair with the broad teeth end of the comb upwards
- Try to ensure that no hot air reaches the scalp
- Use a hairdryer only after hair washing/rinsing with conditioner. Under no circumstances after massaging in the hair treatment, since this would remove the treatment from the scalp.
What to Expect with Thymuskin
The results expected with Thymuskin really do differ depending upon each individual and the type of alopecia that they suffer from.
If you are suffering from totallis or universallis for example then it can take around 3 months to start seeing results with total remission often being seen around 18 months.
Below we show the typical results for the most common type of alopecia - androgenetic alopecia - commonly called Pattern Baldness assuming that either the normal Thymuskin shampoo or Medicated shampoo is used alongside either the Thymuskin Treatment or Thymuskin Med Gel.
- Month 1
You should start to see a difference in the amount of hair loss you suffer. Your existing hair should definitely feel in a better condition - Month 2-3
Your hair loss should be stopping by now and you may even experience hair regrowth too. - Month 4 - 9
Most users report good hair growth in this period and many actually stop using the Thymuskin Treatment at this point and simply use the Thymuskin shampoo to maintain what they have already achieved. - Month 9 onwards
