The HairMax LaserComb will NOT help balance your DHT, nor will it block the DHT from causing damage to the hair follicles. What the HairMax has been FDA approved for in the USA is for helping re-grow hair.

So, the HairMax may well help you grow healthy hair! However, it sounds like you need to look for a DHT blocker too. I assume you are female since your Dr has put you on the pill. So, I would recommend you consider a topically applied product such as Revivogen or Thymuskin whose ingredients have been reported to help block DHT.

Since you taking a prescription medicine please do not take any oral supplement without discussing with your Dr first. However, a topically applied product like Revivogen Scalp Therapy is not systemic so will not pass into the blood stream. However, it could well help to maintain healthy DHT levels with your hair follicles and couple that with a growth stimulator such as the HairMax and you may well have a regimen that suits you.
